Explore the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, a protected area distinguished by an endless variety of flora, fauna and historical gems. An outdoor adventurous weekend experiencing protected climbing iron paths, adventure parks and the brewing traditions of this area!

You will stay in Feltre, in the heart of Valbelluna, a small alpine village with a great historical and artistic value. In the village, you will find the Doriguzzi Hotel in a nineteenth-century building overlooking the Prealps of Belluno Dolomites. The hotel is beautiful, refined and elegant. Doriguzzi Hotel is the perfect place to live an unforgettable adventure. Here, the old and the new combine to create the ideal place for those who want to treat themselves to some moments of relaxation and rest, as well as experience the beauty of the surrounding area.

Feltre is one of the most enchanting fortified villages in the Venetoregion, surrounded by crenelated walls, built in the 16th century following the design project by Dionigi da Viterbo, a distinguished engineer from Venice. The village is nicely surrounded by woods, fields and peaks of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.

Its historical center is definitely worth a visit: perched on a hill where the Castle of Alboino was originally built and surrounded by high ancient walls. It’s a picturesque and charming place, with exclusive villas decorated with frescoes, hidden alleys, numerous churches and squares, among which Piazza Maggiore stands out with its Lombardesque fountains, while outside the ancient walls, so it does the Piazza Duomo where archeologists also found some precious ancient vestiges.

The surroundings of Feltre, thanks to their unspoiled nature, make the city the perfect starting point for many walks, such as a trip to the nature reserve of Vincheto, where mouflons, deer, fallow deer, roe deer, birds and aquatic species live free, or a hiking tour on the Alta Via n.2, which connects the city to Bressanone.

On the second day, after a rich breakfast buffet, you will set off on an adventurous hike: an easy climbing iron path on the Feltrino Crags. This is a very exciting and fun adventure trail in the area of Fonzaso, half a protected climbing path and half a panoramic climbing path. You will find some tracts equipped with iron cables together with other easy walking paths, making it perfect for beginners who want to approach the world of the Iron Paths of Dolomites and who are completely new to it.

As an alternative to the usual Iron Paths, you can go canyoning in the gorges of Val Maor or leave for an e-bike tour around the village.

In the evening, you will visit the Pedavena Brewery and you will taste their typical dishes and artisanal beers, while having dinner at the “largest brewery in Italy”. This historical venue has been hosting thousands of tourists for years, who every year decide to come and discover the beauties, but above all, the flavors of the area: traditional dishes, local ingredients, themed events and obviously a lot of beer…
